Here is a bulerías letra we studied with José Mijita last weekend here on the Flamenco Tour to Jerez. It’s from his Latin Grammy nominated album, Se Llama Flamenco.

We practiced singing the letra and then worked with Carmen Herrera on how to respond to the singing as dancers. So much fun. (You can see pics from class below.)

*The author wrote the first line as it is sung, pa to la via in as opposed to para toda la vida.
