Part 11: Other Activities

During the Flamenco Tour we also go on walking tours around town . . .

To see the architectural sites,

To tour the flamenco neighborhoods,

We do a lot of walking around

We visit the Centro Andalúz de Flamenco.

It’s a flamenco museum housed in an old palace.

We might take a cante class with José Mijita and Carmen.

We practice at home.

Some people even find themselves practicing in the streets.

Or practicing at the bar.

We do a lot of laughing.

And hanging out.

And enjoying.

The best part for me…was the camaraderie between the group. We all came from different walks of life. We had different experiences, and yet the flamenco was what connected us..for us to be able to congregate in that beautiful city and just be immersed in the whole experience is something I’ll never forget.
