Here’s a flamenco footwork pattern in the compás of 12.⁣

Use this as practice exercise, or add it to one of your dances.⁣

The second part of the pattern is a remate, so this step would work well to close something in your dance.⁣

Some Notes About the Hands:

1. Try not to move your hand too much during the first part of the step.

A couple of rotations is all you need otherwise it will be distracting.⁣

If this is a struggle, I recommend doing the first part of the step very very slowly while intentionally controlling and slowing down the rotation of the hand.⁣

2. During the second part of the step, the remate, the hands are more accented, following the main accents of the feet.⁣
