Unlock the mysteries of how the cante and baile work together in bulerías with master artists José Mijita (cantaor) and Carmen Herrera (bailaora).
In this 1.5 hour workshop, Carmen Herrera will teach students some bulerías moves and explain how and where to put them with José Mijita’s cante. Students will learn how to apply the moves in different situations and how (and why) to modify if the cante calls for it.

Open to dancers, palmeros, singers, and anybody interested: All skill levels. Everybody can benefit to learning how to dance to bulerías cante!
*Workshop will be recorded for those who cannot attend live.

In the upcoming workshop, students will learn some dance moves and practice dancing them in accordance with the singing.
