This dance step works with a 12-count compás.

Body notes:

While the left arm isn’t doing any movements, it is very important to be aware of otherwise it might distract from the rest of the step. ⁣

Keep your left hand on your waist during the entire step. (You can hold your skirt.) ⁣

Keep your elbow prominent, a little bit forward or to the side.

Abanico notes:

Hold the fan securely but lightly and without tension in your hand. ⁣
